He was with her soulfully.
Because bodies can't take away pain.
Souls can.
Beading up a reality with background music.

Truth
A little less than 2 weeks.
Vanish and bliss.
Vanity and discourage
She awaits the aisle of roses and green.
Vanish and bliss.
Vanity and discourage
She awaits the aisle of roses and green.
The space between light and you.
We've reached down into space
And walked through air for nothing
Held onto the moments that were useless
And now we sit, drained, parched and unwanted by ourselves.
And walked through air for nothing
Held onto the moments that were useless
And now we sit, drained, parched and unwanted by ourselves.

Promise
Today,
A promise I make. Or two and a few
That old man walking down the street, I'd be his stick to walk with,
And I see a girl around the corner everyday, she needs new shoes,
Maybe I can use my pocket money for those
Today,
A promise I make,
To keep my word.
A promise I make. Or two and a few
That old man walking down the street, I'd be his stick to walk with,
And I see a girl around the corner everyday, she needs new shoes,
Maybe I can use my pocket money for those
Today,
A promise I make,
To keep my word.

Ameer Khusrau
Mun tu shudam tu mun shudi, mun tun shudam tu jaan shudi
Taakas na guyad baad azeen, mun deegaram tu deegari
I have become you, and you me,
I am the body, you soul;
So that no one can say hereafter,
That you are are someone, and me someone else.

Origami
Once when we built a house
It was purple
And it was blue
The windows leaked
And the pipes tied the doors
Once when we moved far away
The car drove itself
From china to mineapolis
We ate on streets
And slept on lamp posts
Again they picked up
And threw us against the trash can
Once when we built a house
It was black
And it was grey
Neend
1:43am: He got tired of chasing the crawling lights on his wall, made by the cars zooming by.
His head was heavy,
numb, yet not.
Did not feel a thing, yet did.
Emtionless.Full.
2:30am: Craving for an emotional break, to cry his heart and eyes out. He drove to her place.
She knew he wasn’t asleep.
Knew he couldn’t.
She knew him too well for him to put everything he felt and thought into words.
2:45am: Welcoming with open arms, just as he knew she would.
The room was dimly lit with a few candles.
His heart smiled at her innocence. At her Love.
2:50am: She lead him to the bed, made him sit and sat right behind him.
Kneeling into her , he lay there eyes closed. Tears at the rim of his eyes.
She let it be. Let the tears be. Knew he’d find the comfort in her, in her presence.
Guzar Jaayen Sukh Se Teri
Dukh Bhari Ratiyaan
Badal Doon Maein Tohse Ankhiyaan
Bas Maein Agar Ho Yeh Batiyaan
Maangu Duaaen Haath Uthaaye
Meri Nindiya
Tohe mil jaaye
Main jaagun, Tu sojaye
...and He slipped into sweet slumber.
Shades of reality
It felt like a film running through the reel
Black and white, more black than white, Actually grey and black. White would be pure eh? Or white too.
making perfect sense, and not. Clear and blurry.
How did it feel to be carried on four shoulders? wondering today, he held onto an edge of the palanquin. Yes, he'd call it a palanquin. Maybe because he didn't have enough guts to call it what it really truly was, or maybe because She was always his princess, no matter what everyone else thought. Said.
Sapnay Samaitay, Dil Haar ke, yeh maan ke, chal diyeh
Khudh ko lapaitay, iss bahaar mein, dil haar ke, hum chalein,
Walking through acres of land, of colors, of love, of scents. Still wondering.
Jab Rang sab azad hain, toh mausam naraz hain kyun?
Saday libaas mein, Sawan naraz hai kyun?

Muse
Find me a new muse before you leave
Before you walk down the aisle and say your I do's
Find me another you.
Before you walk down the aisle and say your I do's
Find me another you.

Concrete
Lets walk down the road to meet new people,
Until our destinies are forgotten and mistaken for theirs.
Until the world sets no bounderies
